We had a 45 bushel difference in two farms, located a mile and a half apart from each other. The only difference was that in June, the north farm got a pop up storm ( one inch)that the south farm didn't get. The south farm's corn ears started at 18-20 wide and went down to 12 wide halfway up the ear. You could see where it ran out of water .
