See above for my results. Beet lime might be an option if I can get.


Something to think about.

Agree that the lime to get to a 'good' pH level is a lot.
But changing the pH that much in one go is going to force other changes int he soil.
By this I mean internal stuff - - - you know microorganisms of all the shapes and forms.
Dunno how well they do large shifts.
Looking at your organic matter - - - have you considered both liming AND adding some composted manure?
