nc ks | The whole point was that the crop wasn't as bad as many thought because a crop saving rain was able to save a lot of it, and in a big way. Guys started posting very early that there was no hope. But......there was hope in many, if not most cases. Telling them that there was hope brought bitter backlash. But the ones explaining that it wasn't as bad as it was being portrayed were the bad guys it seems. If nothing else, I think we established that the look of the grass in your yard has little to do with health and potential of your corn. A lot of guys simply did not know much about stress in corn and when it became an unrecoverable situation. Guys also liked to take pictures of the worst half acre and were also very defensive of that.
