SC WI | I used to try to pay attention to what the future of ag will look like, but seems everything is so short sided. Non GMO, GMO, Organic, humanly raised, grass fed, carbon credits, carbon intensity score, SAF, what’s next?
Middle men skim off all the profits, no market premium for commodities, profit bid out of market, it’s all getting quite annoying. BTO have efficiencies of scale on their side and a land base that they don’t have to participate in these feeble programs. Then the Government wonders why things get no traction, then try harder to force it on us. | |
