I have a single bale wrapper, yes uses more plastic, but gives me more flexibility. In cold weather (below freezing temps) I feed a week's worth at a time with no problems, if warmer weather every 3-4 days. The dryer ones last longer. BTW, I've bale/wrap anywhere from 15% to 65% moisture, mostly 25% - 35%. YMMV
