That's disappointing. One of their biggest selling points is running 24/7 without constant supervision. What is the quality of their end product like vs flame roasted? Energy used per ton?
The quality is better than flame roasted. Much more even.
I can't find my records of the kilowatts used per ton, but see their new units have a built in meter. We have the cheapest electric rates in the country (6 cents), so that makes a big difference.
edited to add: if you can keep it running 24/7, it will use significantly less electric than start/stop/start/stop
