You would have to go back to 70’s to see the kind of inflation we are seeing last few years. So I will disagree with you that we never have had the tide go out. In the 70’s coffee shops full of partially employed farmers living off inflation ( borrowing against farm because of increased values) , by 1985 everybody had a second job. I am not saying the world is ending but there are times to be cautious and it would seem to be a time to at least look around and see if all the glittering is really gold. Maybe it is but high interest rates and tightening margins are here for now. Bankers are using cash flow rather than asset based so hopefully will hold things in check.
