Labor higher, machinery up considerably more than inflation rate, property insurance rates up dramatically, have you priced a grain bin or a new farm building? My health insurance is up almost 50% in last 5 years. Real estate taxes here up 20-30%. All farm services such as electricans, builders, plumbers, are up dramatically plus their supplies such as wire, pipe, and controls. We have had rock delivered up 30-40%. Seed corn and inputs went up considerably when corn went to 7$, seed corn has not come down very much. Fuel is up last 4 years, bought identical set of tires for a tractor, up 30% to 40% from pre Covid. That’s just what comes to mind off the top of my head. Everywhere I turn things have went up dramatically.
