NW Indiana
One thing I think all of us can agree on is historically there has been very little yield potential lost as of June 1st from drought but there has been a lot of yield potential lost by this time from too much water. Do I think 181 is still possible? Yeah sure but most likely more problems continue to occur throughout the growing season. Any areas that continue with too much moisture throughout the vegetative phase will be really susceptible to dryness during the reproductive phase. My guess by late July there will be areas suffering from dryness that will really impact yields with shallow roots. Corn exports are strong and likely will continue to be strong with Brazil having much less corn to export YOY.
