West Central Illinois | The small inverters I’ve been around don’t vary their speed relative to load. They are either idling at no load or full speed. They are quiet.
The loudest I’ve heard are the air-cooled larger gas ones that a lot of guys are buying to run one charger.
Much quieter are diesel generators - although those vary also.
One thing that surprised me was the high pitched scream of the T40 charger. | |
