Boone Co. Iowa | This is all from my memory. But I think that my Boone and Greene County averages were like 202 and 203. Because there was such a large price drop from the 2023 spring price to the 2024 fall harvest price, your county yields didn’t have to be THAT low….,
ECO covers the percent from 86% to 90% or 86% to 95% of your crop if you bought it; thought a buyer might have a choice there?
Anyway I think we find out this month if and how much we get paid…..
My understanding from my crop insurance guy was that I was likely to get 80% to 100% of my payment from my Greene County corn…..which was pretty close to $100 an acre…..
He did not think I would get paid on my Boone County acres…..
Here is what USDA NASS had for county yields…..
