Northeast Iowa | Heartland 561 stalk chopper that was mounted on the baler, early to mid-1990's. Had two different custom guys who had them. They avoided the need for a separate pass with a regular stalk chopper and a rake. That's about where the list of advantages stopped. You'd get all of the stalk and not much of the leaves or husks, which was ok for bedding bales, but not great for feed.
TractorHouse has a couple at $350. That's $700 more than I'd be willing to pay.
