There is already to much taxpayer money going out to people who can't get their work done through preventive plant, surly we don't need even more benifitts of taxpayer funds for these people.
Yes there are times in farming when mother nature wins, that's the risk of farming, having the taxpayer pick up that cost and taking the risk away from the farmer has done nothing but raise those cost.

Farmers have bought and will pay for CI the Rules are set
Nobody knows how the year will turn out
Farmers should collect what ever will make them the most $
That's the way the game is played Nothing you say is any more moral than "playing the cards delt"
