This is just a rough guess of what I'm seeing on my coverage map & driving around. Just about every 1/4 section of land that is planted has about 10 percent flooded out. Meaning you planted around the water holes or you planted it and it flooded out. Some are way worse and tiled ground is less, but if I had to average it out, probably a 10 percent average loss per 1/4 section. As far as I can tell this covers at least a 10 county area if not more. Will all the good stuff that's there yield so high that it offsets the losses? Too early to tell. We'll know come October-November. It's definitely not ideal, but if the rest of the growing season shapes up I think the yields can still be good.
