Sage grouse numbers are holding steady. We see them out there sometimes. Fires are always a concern out there. That is why the Air Force leases the grazing out to help keep the fire risk down. They did have a lightning caused fire on the training ground about 4 years ago. It's been reseeded and is good grass now.
