Eastern SD | I think you are on the right track. A couple years ago when i started feeding lambs i bought a corn pellet mix. Priced several local coops. Price was abt 30 cents a pound at all of em. Later i decided to purchase corn elsewhere because i didnt like the grind quality. Price of the pellets without corn was the same, 30 cents a pound. So these clowns had been charging me 30 cents a pound for corn! Thats almost $17 a bushel! What a ripoff. Definitely room for competition in the feed business! | |
