NW Indiana
I laughed today when I seen the 5 year avg for IL at 84 and IN at 80. Are people really stupid enough to think that is normal?
Also to your point I seen large fields today of beans on beans that were just planted, that is not a thing in my area. And no till corn with no history because it is too wet to work the ground???

So honest question for everyone, as of June 2nd are your crops better or worse than last year? Reason I ask because I pointed out the other day that historically almost zero potential has been lost as of June 1 because of drought but a bunch has been because of too wet. Yes lots of areas were getting very dry at this point last year but almost everyone was in agreement that the crop had until at least the 10th but most people were the 15-20 of june range before things went backwards. So how can the crop be so much better than last year as of this date? Basically it goes to show how worthless these ratings are.
