You can dial back the wrap a bit, but not a lot (some guys put on much more than needed however) 6-7 wraps is good for 2 yrs - Lock your eye on a particular spot on a bale and watch the wrapper pass over it, counting the wraps to be sure.
The hay will be stable now - May get a little sweat against the plastic, but should be fine.
