Thumb of Michigan
Just wrap them, get 7-8 mils of plastic on them (6 layers of 1.2mil or 8 layers of 1 mil). I don't know about using 1.5 mil, my only experience is with 1 mil and 1.2 mil plastic. I prefer 1.2 mil, seem less stem poke through for me. I've had a couple that waited to be fed until winter number 3 with no problems. I do put all mind on top of pallets, to slow the mice damage (spoilage) on the bottoms.
