Southern IA | interesting, always thought those were slip formed in one pour, but someone posted on here a while back about another farm pouring a silo and there was a cold joint each time they moved the forms. must be a lot of rebar at the joints. Do they put sealer at each joint to prevent an air gap from forming as the concrete shrinks and ages and keep the juice from seeping in and rotting out the rebar? Curious what one costs/ton of storage ready to use with unloader. | |
