At the risk of this getting political, WHICH IS NOT MY INTENT, Does this in any way relate to the forgiveness of student loans? IMO no. While both farm loans then and now, as well as student loans are received voluntarily, macroeconomic circumstances changing is what put most ag loans in jeapordy. Not so much with student loans.
