Cherokee iowa
This is just my humble opinion. Dad and I went on a hour forty min drive up into Minnesota on little errand run. Thought we would see field after field of knee high corn with nice green color after hearing the USDA put out what 70% good to excellent. I respect the USDA for we need such a organization working for the people rightfully. But I will have to disagree on the crop ratings. Id say 13% g/e 57%fair 15%poor 15%very poor. It’s June forth we should have knee high corn everywhere. Yellow uneven sickly looking. Beans look better overall on the trip. From Cherokee to Adrian Minnesota to lemars iowa back home. Rest of iowa must look amazing to bring up the northwest in the ratings. What’s the definition of a bear trap? Flatter the land worse the stands! Many flat acres worth 20k looking tough.
