| Social Security is tax on only the first 168k ish of yearly income the rest is non taxable so where the working class person SSI pays 15 ish percent on his whole 100k of income somebody like Elon musk gets 57 million per year untaxed and also gets to max out his payment with 5ish years of earnings.
You see they already means test SSI but only on what one is required to pay in, it's time to means test it on what one gets paid out from it.
