Again SSI is already means tested ( capped) on how much earnings one has to pay SSI taxes on ( something you have no problem with it seems but God forbid it should be means tested on being able to collect it on the payout side. You seem to think that 5 million of net worth makes one rich, I'll let you in on a dirty little secret it does not. In 1977 or 1978 I knew a man in the Hollywood hills that bought a property for 28 million USD the house on the property had a set of golden doors big enough to drive a 10 yard ready mix truck through with Italian marble steps leading up to them , when he started the remodel on this property that's all that was left of the house we drove mixers through those golden doors and started to pour footings behind them to began the rebuild. It was when I knew I would never be rich, i knew I would never have 28 million dollars to buy a front door, and I was ok with it.

By the way I doubt you ever paid in max SSI TAXES, in fact I'm pretty sure you have not.
