A lot of corn appeared to take 160+ to emerge this year. Seems to me like a lot of what I’ve been seeing is behind a leaf maybe even 2. Would it be safe to assume hypothetically moving the planting date back a week on it? Asking a legitimate question here as I’ve never personally seen such slow emergence. I commented on another thread that I believe e lack of oxygen, saturation, and cool soil/air created the need for more GDUs which matches a U of N study on corn emergence.
