I have ran 3 times in the past. The current CEO does not want any new voices on the board, especially those that challenge the status quo. The vote tabulation process is secretive and the Iowa Corn promotion board does not release vote totals. Voting is only allowed at local extension offices during the day, on one specific day. The good ole boys make sure their club is not infiltrated by free thinkers.
