Black Hawk County, IA
I wouldn’t want anything but a post hoist under a dump body. I have a couple tri-axle dump trucks, we built 2 feet tall extensions with roll tarps that we can lift on and off as one complete rectangule. Trucks haul about 550 bu, and we pull a Brent 750 wagon behind them. I wouldn’t consider switching boxes as easy as my extensions go on. Without the extensions on, the trucks hold 350+ bu. We have hauled rock in the AM, and hooked on to the wagons for beans after lunch, still get over 900 bu per load. Watch the sales and buy you a nice aluminum body and put it to work.
