CENTRAL ILLINIOS | I sold corn for $1.33 - $1.36 on 03/05/1987. Must have been spotting it because the loads were not all at the same price. That was my lowest price ever (so far) - still have the settlement sheet hanging in my office next to the highest priced one for that era - $5.05 on 05/21/1996. That $1.33 corn would have come with a "LDP" payment from the taxpayers to get the final price near $2.00. | |
