Subject: RE: You fellas with Big Country

Central Coast, California
I have a lease that is an hours drive away and I tried camping it a few times when we first got it.

I don't mind it but I didn't find it much of a savings just based on the need to haul hay, water, extra horses, extra dogs, plus all the camp gear. I think if I really needed to I would but my wife isn't a fan of camping, or me being gone totally out of cell service for days on end.

If I had a cabin or camp that was more turn key I would do it more. Also if it was 2+ hours away I would do it more.

I've worked as a packer in the mountains and love to camp but it's got to be a good haul away from home before it works.
