I was growing up on the farm in the 90s. Dad never grew any more corn than he needed for silage / feed. We never grew soybeans, that was just some weird crop you saw on the way to Fargo sometimes. We did just fine.
Now its all corn and soybeans for comparison. And we're doing fine.
Adapt. And grow commodities for cheap. Don't be married to any particular commodity.
