If you dont have to pay for any fert? I'd think 35-40% of hay crop would be a load? They prolly got $50-70/acre just in fert. I do. Good hay/pasture around
here brings $4,000-7,000/acre. 2% return is minimum $80/acre. I know, I know, landowner can buy their own hay equipment? Tenant maybe buy some hay
ground? How many corn/bean/wheat farm owners pay for the fert and give away 50% of crop? I think both people should just buy their hay, be alot cheaper
and no hard feelings in the end. :
