Subject: Beef finishing

N FLA
I've been using some feed here for cattle finishing.

I use ground corn, and peanut flour I call it. Which is 54% protein and 14% fat. I think it's PB 2 for the starving kids I'm not sure.

However, I feel like I have to add a molasses pellet to keep consumption up. So I use 16% cubes. However, I want to change that to 12% pellets for economy. They are less than half price.

My question is I've got these 3 ingredients, what protein % do you want to be at for finishing beef, and do you think there is something to adding the pellet for increases consumption. Just seems like they don't want 25# of ground corn without some sweetness.

And if so what % of pellet makes sense? Seems like I've been around 10% or 2# with 20# of corn. Somewhere in the ballpark. I have in mind to make a semi load so I'd like some other opinions.
