SC Wisconsin | I've ran a kuhn 3190 baler with a cutter on my 1972ish case 1175 since I bought it new in 2018. Baler has a little over 10k bales on it I think. Bought a 7140 magnum fwa last fall and ran that on the baler for the first time for first cutting. Doubled up 12' windows of grass/alfalfa mix heavy hay I was doing around 5.5 mph running the knives and tractor didn't even know it was back there. The 1175 is turned up and I would have been going probably 4 mph at best and still getting hot. I'll never run a small tractor on a baler again if I can help it. 100 hp more and fwa plus the way better cab made doing first cutting so much more enjoyable. | |
