Pretty well same here. Tried a PT but not for me. Catch in a muddy pivot track and go crooked long ways before pulls out, etc. lot harder on rough ground high spots etc. I can't believe we didn't bend the tongue in several situations. Think I'd pry give it up before going back to a PT

yup i was there to,then I got my clock cleaned on fat cattle and had to give up the self propelled mower and found out that a 12ft disc mower would outrun the sickle self propelled 2 to 1 with less repairs, we have knocked down 160 acres in 1 day with a 12ft pull type,could never do that with a sp mower,have mowed next to new holland so I still think the orignal poster here needs to at least give it a look-at a hesston-we run away from a new holland just seems like there is always something wrong with there disc mowers
