Subject: Sheep and heifers together

SW Wisconsin
I have a neighbor who's grazing some heifers for me, who has some sheep (and a couple goats) of her own. Her facilities are pretty minimal, doesn't have a great way to contain the sheep. I want the heifers to get some grain over the summer, so they've got a little better condition going in to winter. I thought that ~600 lb heifers could fight off sheep, but I was wrong on that apparently. My next thought was to pick the feed bin up high enough that it would be convenient for the heifers but not the sheep. I'll attach a picture of the result of that. Any ideas short of just finding another pasture for the heifers? I don't want to buy grain for the sheep, and she wants to market her sheep as grass-fed, so just adding bunk space won't work.
