Following a 16 foot haybine. It would have to expand to at least 24 feet to catch both windrows comfortably. Something heavy enough in case the hay is wet to not have to go over twice?

We have a 2800 Vermeer and love it. Sometimes in wet hay that's all that will rake it. It rakes two swaths behind a 16ft SP mower. But we also have a 10 wheel v-rake that we use in rough fields on ditch hay.

Vermeer sells a kit so you can run with just one basket out on the 2800. It's nice to flip a windrow if needed.
