Cherokee iowa | In a lot of places. Cheap corn extra grass looks like to me the cow guy going to be a happy guy again. What does a farmer do with twice the hay as last year? Sell it buy more calves? Grass been pricey last two years locally I look for the calves to suck up some of the grass profits. Can feeders hit $270 in October? Local bid 500 blacks picked up Tuesday 191 Thursday 195. Won’t surprise me one bit if I hear of $2 fats next week got a COF on the desk waiting for me to fill out. Is $215 cash really that far away for next April. Ya the board might be at $197 but farmer and citizens sure don’t get them $10 discounts.
