Jesup, IA | The yields for Kossuth, Emmet, Dallas & Boone Counties, as well as Martin County, Minnesota are incredible. Here is their position on the Sept 2023 Drought Map.
It was dry in those areas, but they entered the season with moisture in the profile, and some timely in season rain.
An acquaintance of mine that farms in the Boone/Dallas area had a 4” rain event at pollination that amounted to almost half of the rain received in the growing season. A real game changer.
I’m in the deep red area. I had 3/4ths of APH.
