Southeast Colorado | I kind of think my flavor buds have changed over my 40 years of coffee drinking. It's really hard for me to find what I'd consider a "great" cup of coffee. I pretty much always just use a Keurig type machine nowadays. The Wal Mart coffee is as good as any...........especially for the price. I probably drink a pot's worth every day. But I start my morning with a couple of caffeine pods and then switch over to decaf the rest of the day.
Once in a blue moon at a restaurant or convenience store I stumble across a really good tasting coffee. But not often enough..........and I never figure out their secret. That's kind of why I wonder if the problem isn't partially just me, and the timing.
One last thing..........for some reason, my wife (a non coffee drinker), after having Covid a couple of years back, now hates the smell of coffee. She used to like it. Now I have to open windows in the house or vehicle or wherever I'm drinking it. Either that or she acts like she's going to gag. | |
