Any good ideas on how to make moveable physical marks of some sort of touch screens?
I want to make two moveable physical lines on a cruizer 2 that line up with the width of the coverage map. They need to be moveable because they would need to be attached to the screen at different widths depending on the width of the swath.
I would like to do this so it would be easier to line up for the next pass based on the coverage map, because in certain situations the correct last pass line does not show up soon enough, but if I had physical marks on the screen, I could possibly line those up to the coverage map.
The lines would only need to be 1”-2” long each.
Any thoughts?
I'm still not sure I completely understand what you're trying to accomplish, but what about using two narrow rubber bands? Just wrap them around the display, front to back, and adjust the spacing as needed. This would be a fast and completely non-permanent way to see if the concept works as you want it to.
