When gold was $1000 an oz, I wanted to buy a bunch. I was advised not to. CD's weren't worth much then. So, I bought machinery that's now depreciated. Gold, CD's, stock market, land, it's all a gamble. No matter what you do, someone else has their hands in your pockets.
