We carry clay in from pasture with scraper. It packs down and lasts the longest around waterers and back of aprons
We've tried clay several times. Laid down and packed like concrete.
Next spring, couldn't find the line between manure and clay, it was all the same consistency. Get to the virgin topsoil, hard like usual. Maybe we need to find different clay.
