Southern MN | We finished up adding nitrogen to everything Saturday night just in time to get 3-3.5” followed by 2+ on Sunday/Monday. My 20 some year old keeps wanting to compare this year to 91 or 93 and I have told him we aren’t even close, but driving around last night we have lost holes that we have only lost in 91 and 93. Finished replanting most holes Saturday for the third time, will try beans in the holes that dry out by July 4th I guess. The crop is still a lot better than wet years in the past though. With the dry start first part of April and the amount of tile that has been installed I thought APH or better was attainable before Saturday night. Now there is just going to be too much missing no matter what the good parts yield. | |
