This will be interesting. A lot of machinery was sold on 100% depreciation financed with intermediate term loans that will need to be serviced with lower income years. It does make sense to take out a 7% loan to offset a 30% tax bill. Until your cash flow can’t service the term note and you lower the market value of the machinery on the balance sheet
