Sheridan Mi | In my life? We didn't used to start until the end of June, first of July when I was a kid and we cut with a sickle mower. One wet spring, I baled the first of it on July 4. I remember finishing about July 25 one year. Nobody used to cut very early. We used to have our big family reunion the second Sunday in July. I remember the first time that somebody said they were done with hay that Sunday. The goal always seemed to be done by the time the wheat was ready. | |
