Boone Co. Iowa
Basis continues to strengthen here. Local eplants just keep bidding higher.

Anyone else subscribe to Commstock report? Yesterday they focused on corn demand in Kansas - Texas areas where they feed cattle. Very very strong bids for corn. No one is posting what they are paying. But demand for corn is strong in that area.

And typically we are 10-20 cents under, and 30 under isn't unheard of. Today eplants are posted at 20 over and 33 cents over. Probably get a nickel or 2 more if you picked up the phone and hemmed and hawed and said "I'll call the neighboring plant and talk to them, then let you know."
