| I’m working on renting a pasture from a neighbor. It’s really grown up in mesquite, but has some ok grass this year since my airplane defoliated it when they sprayed mine. Something like it would rent for about 10-15 an acre of it had a usable or repairable fence.
This place has no fence at all and needs a little dozer work to do anything. Or maybe I could do it with a chainsaw in a day or so. I can put up a 2 strand hot wire for about 2000 plus whatever the dozer runs. There’s an old well I could throw a solar pump down it has water in it and a pond that could probably be cleaned out next drought.
Do I rent it on the cheap end and get a 5-10 year lease to cover my fence? The guy is really flexible and easy going family friend. He’s just told me to look it over and tell him what I want to do. | |
