| Looking at feeding some bred heifers TMR this winter on a corn field harvested for silage in Michigan.
Newer to this so I’m wondering how bad 35 of em would screw up an 8-10 acre piece feeding in a couple bottomless bunks. Thinking about planting some sort of annual forage the following year.
Alternative is to take them into the feedlot but then I’ve gotta worry about manure and giving them enough space in there too.
