| This is my second year of planting Hayes barley for hay, so not real familiar with it. When is the best stage of maturity to cut for hay quality?
Also this year we have something strange going on with it. It is mostly headed out now and it appears to have some disease or fungus. This seed man that sold it to me says he’s never seen anything like it before so Ag Talk here we come.
Anyone know what it is? And most importantly is it harmful for cows to eat?
