Nebraska | Cheatgrass. In low rainfall areas it’s a problem as it comes on early, uses the limited moisture and matures early. Not very palatable. In your area with abundant fertility and rainfall, it’s not as much of a problem as you will get enough moisture for your other plants to still be able to survive and compete after it’s done. As long as you don’t overgraze your desirable plants, it’ll decrease over time. Looks like it’s done for year already | |
